All About Us

Last fall I decided to swear off sugar. Again. And, I was doing really well. However I craved the comfort of sugar. I wanted something sweet and I wanted it now!

So I started thinking of experimenting with regular dessert recipes. When I was younger and had more time, I used to love baking. Agave nectar, honey and other natural sweetners would be great substitutes to use. The natural sweenters are okay, it's the highly processed sugar that can harm
your body.

If I was looking for a healthy dessert, than others might be intrigued as well. Instinctively I knew I could make this work. Hence the birth of Rija's Kitchen. Our first project is to develop recipes, design and publish a no sugar, low gluten desert cookbook. Our goal is to make these desserts as delicious and appealing as the regular full sugar, full gluten treats.
